Mule went to his forever home!

Mule left the other day and went to his forever home, but I still have several pictures that you can enjoy. He was probably the shortest foster I have ever had but he was such as sweet and loving big boy!

I'm interrupting his breakfast

Love and purrs!

Wyatt update!

Wyatt has settled in at his new home nicely and is extremely spoiled! His forever mom posts pictures on Facebook so I get to see him grow still. He always looks so happy. It makes you feel good as a foster parent to know that you've placed a pet in such a great home!

As you can see he goes where he wants and does what he wants and is growing like a weed. His mom reports that he is eating like crazy so I'm sure he'll be even bigger next time I see pictures.

Mule has arrived!

Mule is here. He spent some time hiding under my bed until I retrieved him and brought him out with the rest of the cats. He is extremely people oriented. He purrs constantly, wants to cuddle and get lots of pets. However this whole inside a house stuff and being underfoot is still really new to him. He runs when we get too close to fast, sounds like washing dishes, flushing the toilet, making food in the kitchen, all terrify him. Everything is still very new and scary! He was content to stay with me for a while on the couch and really wanted to get down and explore but the girls were still hissy about him being here so I took him back to my bedroom.

He'll be staying back there for the time being, he's already got a "safe spot" picked out that he runs to under my bed which is good for him as well as good for me since I know where to find him when he is hiding. Since I use my room often it's already pretty cat safe plus it keeps him close to me, which at this part of his socialization is vital. He needs to get used to the basic hustle and bustle of a normal household.

He is 9 weeks old, though if I didn't know that I'd say he was much older. He is ginormous! He looks sixteen or even eighteen weeks old just because he is so large. He is going to be a gigantic cat, but he has the sweetest little face and such a gentle personality. Even when he got scared and ran under the couch he hasn't decide to swat or bite. He is very docile which is going to make this process easier.

Kitten Incoming: Mule

This is Mule, he'll be coming to stay with me to gain some more social skills. He comes from the same colony that Wyatt did. He is going to be a big boy, but he's still really skittish of people. I should have him tomorrow night so be prepared for wonderful orange kitty pics for the next few weeks!
