Mule is here. He spent some time hiding under my bed until I retrieved him and brought him out with the rest of the cats. He is extremely people oriented. He purrs constantly, wants to cuddle and get lots of pets. However this whole inside a house stuff and being underfoot is still really new to him. He runs when we get too close to fast, sounds like washing dishes, flushing the toilet, making food in the kitchen, all terrify him. Everything is still very new and scary! He was content to stay with me for a while on the couch and really wanted to get down and explore but the girls were still hissy about him being here so I took him back to my bedroom.
He'll be staying back there for the time being, he's already got a "safe spot" picked out that he runs to under my bed which is good for him as well as good for me since I know where to find him when he is hiding. Since I use my room often it's already pretty cat safe plus it keeps him close to me, which at this part of his socialization is vital. He needs to get used to the basic hustle and bustle of a normal household.
